US NorthWest 2017 Travel (8) - Mt. Rainier National Park
Mt. Rainier, with its elevation of 4392 m, is the highest peak of Cascade Range; it is also a dormant volcano. Mt. Rainier National Park, established in 1899, is one of the oldest national park in US. It protects a broad area surrounding the Mt. Rainier. During summer, wild flowers are blooming along the valley and in the hills. This was our second visit of Mt. Rainier. We stayed one night at the lodge inside the park, visisted the usual area around the paradise as welll as unsual area in Sunrise Ridge.
