Southwest US Travel 2019 (5) - White Sands National Park

This is not your ordinary sand dunes, its sands are mineral of gypsum. Located in the south of New Mexico, surrounded by mountains, the park was promoted to National Park from National Monument a few days before I started my travel.

We visited the park twice during the trip, the first was on a cloudy, then raining afternoon, the revisiting was in a sunny day. So you can imagine the scenery was largely different as you will see in the photos below.
