Red-Tailed Hawk is by far the most common and widely encountered raptor. Whenever you see a large raptor circles high in the sky,the chances are that it be a red-tailed hawk. Not every red-tailed hawk has a red tail, all the juveniles don't has a red tails. So identify them is a little tricky.
