Ibis and Spoonbill
Ibis and Spoonbill are birds of Threskiornithidae Family, under the order of Pelecaniformes. Here are four specices I have photographed so far, i.e. American white ibis (Eudocimus albus), White-faced Ibis(Plegadis chihi), Glossy ibis (Plegadis falcinellus), and Roseate Spoonbill (Platalea linnaeus).
P1 White-faced Ibis(Plegadis chihi), Utah, 2017.
P2 Glossy ibis (Plegadis falcinellus), Florida, 2017
Glossy ibis looks similar to White-faced Ibis. The former lives in the Eastern part of American while the latter in Western part of American. The conspicuous difference is that the White-faced Ibis has a white border around the eyes.
